I also like to liveblog stuff, mainly NBC comedy shows and late night shows and occasionally other stuff too.

Here, I’ll talk a little bit about myself in detail.
-What is your name?
- My name is Askia Jones. Sounds almost like Rashida Jones
-What’s the story on your name?
- I dunno, I think it’s middle eastern or african
-What is your birthday/age?
- December 9, 1983 and right now I’m 27.
-What do you look like?
-What is your race? Are you mixed?
- Well, it’s complicated. But I will say that I have African American, Indian(not Native American) and Puerto Rican in my blood. I think other stuff too but those stand out the most in my facial features.
-What’s your situation, if you know what I mean?
- Oh, well I’m not involved with anyone. It’s such a surprise, right?! (no, of course not).
-What do you do for a living?
- Well, currently I’m unemployed. The economy man, the economy. But I spend time taking care of my mom right now too.
-Any siblings?
- Yes. I have an older brother and a cousin who is also like an older brother to me too.
-Any kind of pets?
- Just one! I have a dog named Sam. He’s a Cocker Spaniel. Here is a photo of him
-I noticed you love Saturday Night Live. How that happen?
- When I was a kid in the 90s, I would watch it here and there. Sometimes I would watch the older episodes on Comedy Central. It wasn’t until the Tina Fey years that I began to tune in each week. I haven’t missed a live episode in almost 10 years
-Why NBC Comedies? Why not CBS or ABC, or even FOX?
- I don’t know, I guess it’s the “SNL” effect. You watch it every week, they promote their Thursday night programs throughout the night and next thing you know, I wanna watch them. that’s not to say that other networks don’t have good comedies, I just prefer NBC shows, that’s all.
-Why do you post so much SNL material?
- I do it because it’s really rare to find most SNL stuff over the internet. I also do it because it’s the right thing to do. Other people love SNL as much as I do so I should allow them to have the same things as me.
-Will you post anything else besides Saturday Night Live?
- Yes. I post other TV shows like 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation and now Up All Night. Anything else I probably won’t but if I follow you and you ask not under anon status, I might make it as a one time special request.
-How do you find TV Shows so fast? What is your Secret?
- Hahaha! Well it’s not really a secret, I just know where to look. Different torrent sites, special search engines that only look up file storage websites, and the occasional message board I frequent.
-How long have you been uploading these shows?
- Since about 2005. I used to upload them for myself because my hard drive was very small. Once I joined my Tina Fey message board, I began to post things there. Then once I came to tumblr, I brought everything here with me.
-Where can I contact you outside of Tumblr? Do you use any other social networking websites?
- Well, I still go to my Tina Fey Message board. It’s a really nice place and you should check it out here. I’m an Administrator there and my name is “AJays”. I don’t use facebook.
