No, this wasn’t that short-lived talk show he had in the early 1990s, this was one of the NBC specials he did in the late 1970s.  He did some more of them during that time (I think he only did 3?).  I’m not sure but I think that it was apart of his deal he made with NBC once he decided to leave SNL, he would come back and do a few comedy specials for the network.  These were actually pretty entertaining too, unlike his talk show in the 90s.  It was some of the same that you would see him do on SNL but still pretty good.
