Since Mulaney’s sitcom didn’t get picked up, does that mean Nasim is staying put on SNL for another season? I remember almost a decade ago, Chris Parnell was filming a sitcom pilot that was written by Paula Pell and CBS ended up passing on it and he stayed and he came back for another season. I just wanna see more Tippy so I hope that she doesn’t bolt from SNL even though the sitcom thing didn’t work out, like Abby did last season.
Speaking of which, you all should be happy this weekend, but you all might get nervous for the season finale next weekend and the weeks afterward. That’s when we’ll learn who’s leaving and who’s staying put

In those Bedelia sketches, Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin are her parents. Also in an entirely different sketch from the 2011 season, Alec had played as Nasim’s dad. I love the Bedelia character, it reminds me a whole of Cheri Oteri.
