If Julia Child were alive today, she would be 100 years old.  I’m pretty sure almost everyone has made reference to the “French Chef” sketch by now, but since it deals with SNL, I had to make a post on it.  When Al Franken was eulogizing his good friend Tom Davis on the Senate floor last month, he mentioned that Tom was hiding under the desk and was the one that was controlling the blood flow that was coming out, so that he could get the comedy timing of the blood squirting out correctly as a special effects guy wouldn’t had done it right.  It’s been said that Julia Child herself also thought that this sketch was funny.  Also, one last thing, “remember to save the liver!”

Danny got a bit of a slow start on the show, in part because he was distracted by a movie he was commuting to in Canada, in part because he was inexperienced in television.
