Happy National Sibling Day!
This here is a really good article on how Bob Woodward distorted the facts when he wrote that book on John Belushi’s life “Wired”. Speaking of that, I always make sure to tell everyone that asks for good SNL reading material to stay away from that book. It is not an accurate look at the life of John Belushi. If you want a better look at his life, then definitely read “Belushi: A Biography”
From the Season 1 Peter Boyle episode, the Samurai Divorce Court sketch

This is the Schiller’s Reel “Don’t Look Back in Anger” that aired during the 3rd Season of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Art Garfunkel. It has an old John Belushi visiting the graves of his former cast members, as he was the last one left alive. Yeah, as you can guess by watching this, it’s very weird seeing a sketch where John Belushi outlived everyone knowing what would eventually happen to him just a few years later. If you’ve never seen it before, I suggest watching the whole sketch.

I DONT LIKE THIS PICTURE IT’S UPSETTING ME
don’t mess with Jane Curtin, boys!

It has been said that John Belushi had the #1 Album, #1 Box Office Film and was on the #1 Late Night TV Show all at the same time, a feat which still to this day has not been accomplished by any other SNL cast member
